US drilling rig count decreases by 3 rigs

The number of US drilling rigs decreased by three to 623. While the number of natural gas rigs remained stable at 119, the number of oil rigs decreased by two to 501. The number of drilling rigs in the US decreased by a total of 153 rigs for the year.

Canada's drilling rig count decreased by 9 rigs

The number of drilling rigs in Canada decreased by nine to 185, while the annual total decreased by 14 rigs.
