RePlast Eurasia became the meeting point of the plastic recycling industry for the second time

RePlast Eurasia, Turkey's first and only specialized fair in the plastic recycling industry, brought together all stakeholders of the sector under one roof for the second time this year.

RePlast Eurasia became the meeting point of the plastic recycling industry for the second time

Organized by TÜYAP in cooperation with PAGÇEV Green Transformation and Technology Association between 8–10 May 2025, the fair provided an important meeting and collaboration platform for plastic recycling professionals for three days. RePlast Eurasia once again steered the sector by becoming the meeting point of industry professionals.

THE FAIR ACHIEVED GREAT SUCCESS IN ITS SECOND YEAR

At the fair, where the latest trends in plastic recycling raw materials and technologies were showcased, 151 companies and representatives from 13 countries, including Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, China, and the United Kingdom, presented their products and services. Attracting great attention both nationally and internationally, RePlast Eurasia — Turkey's first and only fair dedicated to the plastic recycling sector — brought together 8,340 visitors from 56 countries over three days. Among them, 596 were international professionals. Countries with the highest number of visitors included Germany, Belgium, the UK, China, Georgia, the Netherlands, Iran, Italy, and Romania. The strong participation from both domestic and international audiences once again demonstrated the international strength and strategic importance of RePlast Eurasia in the sector.

THE FAIR HOSTED THE 2ND PAGÇEV PLASTIC RECYCLING AWARDS AND CONFERENCE

Providing significant momentum to Turkey’s green transformation process, the fair also hosted the Plastic Recycling Awards and Conference, becoming a knowledge-sharing platform for the industry. On the first day of the fair, the Plastic Recycling Awards were presented in 7 categories:

The panels covered topics such as International Perspective in Plastic Recycling: Global Developments and New Trends, Recycled Plastic Content and Certification of Recycling Processes, and Use of Recycled Plastics: Opportunities, Quality Management, and Supply Chain, with expert speakers sharing the latest insights in the industry.

ARTISTIC TOUCH TO RECYCLING: “PET WORLD WALL” AT THE FAIR

One of the highlights of the fair was the "Pet World Wall" project, initiated by upcycling artist Zeliha Sunal. This special art piece, created using collected PET bottles, was started before the fair at TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center and completed with contributions from visitors during the event. Aiming to raise awareness of recycling, this creative project demonstrated how plastic waste can be transformed into valuable artistic works. With this meaningful initiative, RePlast Eurasia contributed to sustainability not only from an industrial but also a cultural perspective.
