Primetals Technologies receives order for modernisation of Evraz Regina

UK-based Primetals Technologies will upgrade Evraz's steel mill in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Primetals Technologies receives order for modernisation of Evraz Regina

This upgrade will allow Evraz Regina to produce API X70 steel grades 25.4mm, 19.1mm I and API X80 steel pipeline.

Primetals Technologies said the new equipment is scheduled for installation in the fourth quarter of 2016.

Evraz Regina produces carbon steel flat steel and carbon steel plate. Its product line includes oil and gas pipe, casing and tubing, small diameter pipeline and large diameter 660 mm and 2032 mm pipeline.
