Primetals supplies hot rolling mill for plant in China

Japanese-Austrian metallurgical equipment manufacturer Primetals Technologies supplies hot rolling mills to its facility in China. The company from which the equipment was supplied was not disclosed by Primetals officials, but it was stated that it will allow the facility to expand the production of strips from high quality steels in the future.

According to Primetals' statement, the production line consumes 50% less electricity than similar lines that do not use Arvedi ESP technology. Primetals also claims that its factory produces zero carbon dioxide emissions during operation.
