Impressed by the Chinese government's latest measures of power restriction, POSCO's stainless steel plant in Jiangsu, China, had to suspend production. It is estimated that this plant will restart production at the beginning of October.
Due to the fact that energy consumption and energy intensity are under national control, several companies in Jiangsu and Zhejiang announced the temporary suspension of production.
A senior official explained that such measures affect foreign businesses, so South Korea wants to deal with it positively and can do its best to improve the situation.
