Nucor steel sheet prices rise after long hiatus

American steelmaker Nucor Corp. , increased its steel sheet prices by $50/short ton today. According to the information in the market, it is said that the price range of hot rolled coil (HRC) will be between $850-900/st. US HRC prices have been declining for some time as manufacturers have reduced inventories and consumer demand is low. The company keeps its published hot rolled coil prices to a minimum.
