NMDC Steel, a subsidiary of NMDC Limited, produced its first hot rolled coil nine days after the blast furnace was commissioned. It has been announced that the annual production capacity of the facility in question is 3 million tons and its total investment is 240 billion INR.
Three important units of the facility, consisting of a blast furnace, steel mill and mills, were commissioned in a short time.
The plant will start producing various special types of steel at a later stage, which will be used in various industries.
