National home price index increased 19.1 percent in October in the USA

In the US, the S&P Case-Shiller National Home Price Index rose 19.1 percent in October compared to the same period last year.

S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller has released the national home price index data for October.

Accordingly, the national housing price index in the USA increased by 19.1 percent in October compared to the same period last year.

Pointing out that the increase in housing prices has slowed down, the index increased by 19.7 percent annually in September.

The index for housing prices in 20 cities in the USA increased by 18.4 percent on an annual basis in October. The data, which was almost in line with market expectations, was expected to increase by 18.5 percent in this period. The index had increased by 19.1 percent in September.

Among the 20 cities in the index, the cities with the highest increase in housing prices were Phoenix with an increase of 32.3 percent, Tampa with 28.1 percent and Miami with 25.7 percent.
