Metinvest, Ferrexpo and MHP were among the companies that were able to maintain liquidity balances during the attack on the Russian Federation. The realization of a decrease in the volume of profits after the attack caused the companies Metinvest and Ferrexpo to significantly decrease their capital expenditures.
Market analysts reported that the three companies experienced a decrease in profit volumes until 2023, but that Ferrexpo and Metinvest would be able to maintain sufficient liquidity after 2023. They reported that the MHP firm may have difficulty in having enough working capital by May 2024.
According to official data, the net cash balance of the company Metinvest amounted to about $106 million, the Ferrexpo company to about $460 million, and the Mhp company to about $317 million.
