Russian iron ore and hot briquetted iron (HBI) manufacturer Metalloinvest has carried out the modernization of the direct reduction plant of the HBI production facility No. 3 in the company's subsidiary Lebedinsky GOK.
According to the data, HBI No. 3 will increase the capacity of its plant by 3%, reaching an annual production of over 2 million tons. The total investment is said to be about 2.5 billion RUB.
During plant maintenance, overhaul can reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability and stability.
