Metal Park announces launch of 30,000-ton cut-and-bend rebar capacity

Abu Dhabi-based Metal Park has announced that it will bring a new monthly cut-and-bend rebar capacity of 25,000–30,000 tons into operation starting from the second quarter of 2026. This volume is reported to account for approximately 10–12% of the UAE’s total monthly rebar consumption.

The company stated that this capacity will be deployed within the Metal Park ecosystem to meet increasing speed, quality, and delivery requirements, particularly in large-scale infrastructure, energy, and public utility projects.

Amid rising construction activity, demand for high-volume and precision-processed reinforcement steel in the region continues to grow. Metal Park aims to improve efficiency and predictability in the supply chain by consolidating production and processing activities within a single industrial hub.

The company also noted that the new capacity represents not only an increase in production, but also an integrated structure combining storage, logistics, and processing services. The facility is expected to become fully operational within approximately six months.
