LMM GROUP, which offers engineering solutions in the steel and metallurgy sector, signed important projects globally in February and March 2025. With the installation and modernization works carried out in Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Ghana and Cameroon, both new generation production lines were commissioned and existing systems were made more efficient. Especially in Türkiye, the after-sales service team worked directly on site to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the equipment.
LMM GROUP's technical expertise was once again demonstrated on the AL-ITTEFAQ STEEL steel bar counter system project in Saudi Arabia. Between February 10 and March 12, the project included chain speed optimization, coaxial chain integration and guide rail upgrades to improve system performance. During the same period, the Prometal steel counter system in Cameroon was also successfully completed. Thanks to the improvement of chain speed parameters and the addition of sensitive optical recognition systems, production accuracy was maximized.
In March, the technical team traveled to Türkiye and met with leading companies in the sector such as Tosyalı Toyo, Net Haddecilik and Ekinciler Demir. It was observed that the steel sorting meters commissioned by LMM GROUP in 2016 and 2018 still have a recognition accuracy of over 99.9%. During the same period, meetings were held with the Jindal Steel Oman delegation to discuss new collaborations on automation and information integration systems. LMM GROUP continues its efforts to make the steel industry more efficient and sustainable by putting technology at the center of production.
