According to Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 564 dated August 20, 2026, the restriction covers products classified under HS code 7204 of the EAEU Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity (TN VED EAEU).
Previous resolution to be repealed
Under the new regulation, the previous temporary export ban introduced by Kyrgyzstan’s Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 117 dated February 18, 2026, will be repealed. The existing restrictions on exports of ferrous scrap and ingots intended for remelting will therefore continue for another six months under the new resolution.
The resolution will enter into force 10 days after its official publication, while the export ban will take effect three days after the resolution comes into force.
The Cabinet of Ministers also instructed the State Customs Service and Border Service to take the necessary measures to prevent the illegal export of these products from the country.
