Korean metal firm prepares to enter African recycling market

RAA Founding Chairman Dr. Salam Al Sharif hosted representatives of the prospective company and members of the RAA management team, including Mahmoud Al Sharif, Yousef Al Sharif, and Yahya Al Sharif. The meeting, held in a warm and visionary atmosphere, focused on shared objectives and future collaboration plans.

The potential Korean partner stated that it aims to align with RAA's current initiatives in metal recycling and gain access to Africa's growing market. The meeting covered a wide range of topics, from membership processes and information sharing to technical partnership opportunities and the promotion of circular economy practices across the continent.

Dr. Salam emphasized the importance of strategic partnerships in transferring global expertise, particularly advanced technologies, to Africa's developing recycling ecosystem. Both sides expressed their commitment to exploring the possibility of structured cooperation. RAA management noted that such partnerships would not only support capacity building but also advance the vision of sustainable resource management in Africa.

This meeting opens the door to a new era that can be built on the RAA's global network of trust, shared vision, and goals to strengthen Africa's leadership in sustainable industrial transformation.
