Koç Metalurji A.Ş. announced in a statement filed with the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) on July 16, 2024, that İsmail ABDULLAHOĞLU, who was serving as a member of the Board of Directors, resigned from his position on July 16, 2024.
The company management accepted İsmail ABDULLAHOĞLU's resignation and decided to appoint Çetin KAYA as a member of the Board of Directors in his place. Effective the same date, Çetin KAYA was also appointed as the General Manager.
The official announcement reads as follows:
“The Board of Directors of our company, in its meeting on July 16, 2024, has decided to:
1- Accept the resignation of İsmail ABDULLAHOĞLU, who resigned from his position as a member of the Board of Directors on July 16, 2024; to elect Çetin KAYA as a member of the Board of Directors, to complete İsmail ABDULLAHOĞLU's term of office and to be submitted for approval to the first General Assembly to be held;
2- To appoint Çetin KAYA as General Manager and Member of the Board of Directors effective July 16, 2024;
This announcement is hereby made to the public.
