Kish Island to host 2026 International Iron & Steel Symposium and Exhibition from October 27 to 29

The 2026 International Iron & Steel Symposium and Exhibition will be held from October 27–29 on Kish Island, Iran. The event gathers top industry leaders, researchers, and companies to discuss innovations and developments in the steel sector.

Kish Island to host 2026 International Iron & Steel Symposium and Exhibition from October 27 to 29

Kish Island is once again set to host one of Iran’s largest industrial gatherings. According to the official announcement from the event, the 2026 International Iron & Steel Symposium and Exhibition will be held from October 27 to 29, 2026.

This long-standing event, recognized as a key fixture in Iran’s industrial calendar, was traditionally held during the first week of March each year. However, since 2022, its schedule has been moved to the first Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of October.

The 2025 edition of the symposium and exhibition took place earlier this year from October 28 to 30 on Kish Island, attracting strong participation from both domestic and international players. The event hosted over 1,300 participants in the symposium sessions and more than 250 companies across an exhibition space spanning 21,000 square meters.

Prominent organizations participating in the event included the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO), National Iranian Steel Company, Mobarakeh Steel  Khouzestan Steel ,Esfahan Steel, Iran Alloy Steel , Ghadir International Industries and Mines Development Holding, Kaveh Pars Holding, Kaveh South Kish Steel, Khorasan Steel, Saba Steel, Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company, and Central Iron Ore Company of Iran, among others.

Distinguished guests and executives such as Dr. Masoud Samieinejad (Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade & Chairman of IMIDRO), Eng. Younesian (CEO of National Iranian Steel Company), Dr. Saeed Zarandi (CEO of Mobarakeh Steel), Eng. Ebrahimi (CEO of Khouzestan Steel), Eng. Afzali (CEO of Esfahan Steel), Dr. Farid Dehghani (CEO of Chadormalu), Dr. Alireza Rahim (CEO of Hormozgan Steel), and Dr. Mohammad-Javad Asgari (CEO of Central Iron Ore Company) were also in attendance.

Organizers emphasized that the upcoming 2026 edition will feature expanded technical programs, international collaborations, and a larger exhibition space, further strengthening its role as a leading platform for innovation, technology exchange, and value chain development in Iran’s steel industry.
