JSW Steel's crude steel production increased

JSW Steel, one of India's leading steelmakers, reported that the company's crude steel production increased by 8% y-o-y to 2.23 million tonnes in May.

Production at the company's Indian operations increased 5.6% y-o-y to 2.09 million tonnes, while output at its US mills increased 77.1% y-o-y to 85,000 tonnes.

JSW Steel's subsidiary JSW Ispat Special Products Limited (JISPL) also produced 53,000 tonnes in May, up 27% y-o-y.
