Jordan Steel, one of the leading iron producing companies in Jordan, announced a reduction in rebar prices for August. The company stressed that this month's price adjustment is aimed at increasing market competitiveness and supporting the continued growth of the construction sector.
The updated prices for August show a decrease of between 2-5 dinars for rebar compared to the previous month. This change is considered as an important step to ensure the sustainability of projects by reducing the costs of companies operating in the construction sector. According to the company, these price adjustments provide an important opportunity to ensure the continuity of construction projects and increase competition in the sector.
The revised prices for 60% EXW rebar range from 451 to 457 (636- 645 UDS) dinars per ton, excluding sales tax. However, when sales tax is factored in, the total cost is estimated to be around 537 to 545 758- 769 USD) dinars per ton. This pricing will provide a significant competitive advantage for various players in the industry, while allowing construction projects to be realized at more affordable costs.
