The new plant is planned to be operational in the first half of 2026. The billet casting plant will produce in the section range of 100-200 square millimeters. The project includes liquid steel transport vehicles with a capacity of 50 tons and a hydraulic hot billet shear with a high-speed cutting mechanism. The cutting mechanism will increase production efficiency while reducing waste and costs.
The rebar outlet will produce 350 thousand tons of 8-40 millimeter diameter rebar per year. The production speed of the line will reach 45 meters per second, making it one of the fastest lines in the world. Energy efficiency and flexibility will be ensured with eDrive technology in production. In addition, product quality will be improved with an advanced temperature control system.
A Level 1 automation system will be used in the facility, which will maximize production continuity and efficiency.
