Japan flat steel exports decreased in Jan 2022

Japan's flat steel exports dropped 13% to 1.78 mnt in Jan'22 compared to 2.04 mnt a month ago,according to data. Exports edged down by 4% y-o-y as against 1.85 mnt in Jan'21.

South Korea, China and Thailand were the top export destinations, while the most traded products were HRC and plates and electrical steel with 1.02 mnt and 0.37 mnt, respectively.
