Iran's Economy Minister enforces 2% export tax on raw material and semi-finished products

In a circular directed to the İran's Director General of the Export Office, the Minister of Economy has issued a significant order aimed at introducing taxes on the export of raw material and semi-finished products.

As per the details outlined in the circular, starting from the beginning of October this year, a tax equivalent to 2% of the export value of these goods will be imposed. This result signifies a notable shift in the taxation policy concerning such materials and is expected to have implications on the export industry.
