Iran started production of dual-phase (DP) hot-rolled steel

Until now, due to the lack of production of dual-phase (DP) hot-rolled steel in Iran and its limited importation, it has not been possible to use it extensively in domestic cars.

In 2022, Saba Steel took an important step towards making the country's automotive industry self-sufficient with the production of dual-phase steel, in addition to its production of ferritic stainless steels (SS409), Corten, HE390D, etc.

Thanks to the efforts of Saba Steel workers and their mastery of CSP line technology, collaboration with local universities, and their research, they have succeeded in providing the first valuable and strategic quality in the country according to ASTM A1088 and EN 10388 standards.
