According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), industrial production increased by 0.7% on a monthly basis and 8.3% on an annual basis in June 2025. This marks the highest annual increase in 16 months.
When examining the sub-sectors of industry, the mining and quarrying sector index decreased by 5.0% compared to the previous month in June 2025, while the manufacturing industry sector index increased by 0.9%. The electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning production and distribution sector index increased by 1.9% on a monthly basis.
On an annual basis, the mining and quarrying sector index increased by 2.3%, while the manufacturing sector index gained 9.5% in value. The electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning production and distribution sector index decreased by 1.1%.
