According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye’s industrial production decreased by 0.8% monthly in October 2025, while annual growth stood at 2.2%. The yearly increase marks the lowest level recorded since February 2025.
When examining the sub-sectors of industry, in October 2025 the mining and quarrying index increased by 9.4% compared to the same month of the previous year, the manufacturing index increased by 1.9%, and the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply index grew by 0.6%.
On a monthly basis, the sub-sectors of industry showed mixed movements: the mining and quarrying index increased by 1.2% compared to the previous month, while the manufacturing index decreased by 0.9% and the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply index declined by 1.2%.
TÜİK data shows that the slowdown in industrial production is mainly due to monthly declines in the manufacturing and energy sectors.
