Industrial production data for September has been published

According to the data published by TÜİK, industrial production in September increased by 4 percent on an annual basis.

When the mining and quarrying sector, which are the sub-sectors of the industry, is examined, in September 2023, the mining and quarrying sector index is 9.1% compared to the same month of the previous year, the manufacturing industry index is 3.7% and the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning production and distribution sector is index increased by 4.2%.

According to published data, the mining and quarrying sector index, which are the sub-sectors of the industry, increased by 1.4% in September 2023 compared to the previous month, while the manufacturing industry sector index remained the same. The electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning production and distribution sector index decreased by 2.0%.
