India's HRC exports fell

India's hot rolled coil exports decreased by 4.37 percent year on year to around 7 million tons. March exports decreased by 0.74% to 701,000 tons.

Among them, India's top exporter was Vietnam, with approximately 1.7 million tons, down 24.4 percent year on year. The following are the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Italy, Nepal and Belgium with 948,000 tons, 885,000 tons, 641,000 tons, 349,000 tons and 322,000 tons, respectively.

Excluding hot rolled coil, billet exports from India fell 27.71 percent to approximately 4.8 million tons in fiscal 2022. In March, India's billet exports were around 268,000 tons, down 47.3 percent year on year. China imported about 1.3 million tons from India, followed by Nepal's 874.500 tons, Indonesia's 586,000 tons, Sri Lanka's 400,000 tons, Italy's 305,000 tons and Kenya's 271,000 tons.
