New coke ovens need to be economical and efficient. Currently, China, the US, Brazil, Australia and Colombia are using non-recovery/heat recovery (NR-HR) coke ovens, which have the advantages of low cost and high performance efficiency, and the new technology can optimise coke quality and reduce pollution.
RINL believes that the new NR-HR coke oven will benefit the sustainable development of Indian steel and solve the coal shortage problem.
