India to take anti-dumping measures

On the 29th, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry decided to implement anti-dumping (AD) measures against electrogalvanized steel sheets made in Japan, etc., and submitted a proposal to the Ministry of Finance.

Yoshihisa Kitano, chairman of the Japan Iron and Steel Federation and president of JFE Steel, commented that the rejection of Japan's claim that the export of the steel sheets made in Japan did not cause any damage to India's domestic industry was said to be inappropriate.
