India aims to boost credibility of steel products with 'Made in India' label

The Indian government has launched the "Made in India" labeling program to ensure stronger branding of steel products in the global market. This program aims to guarantee standard quality by authorizing domestic steel producers to brand their products globally.

The first phase of the program covers integrated steel producers, with plans to expand to include secondary producers in the second phase.

Another important objective of this program is to ensure standard quality for steel products. This will make Indian steel more attractive and strengthen its position in the global market.

For the success of the program, it is crucial to complete the integration of the ISPs-QCI portal Application Programming Interface (API) for label and QR code authentication.

The "Made in India" labeling program for India's steel products is a strategic step to enhance the global visibility and credibility of the country's steel industry. This program aims to create a privileged position for Indian steel in the global market by emphasizing standardized quality and leveraging branding.
