The panel explored the increasing steel demand in developing sectors such as automotive, shipbuilding, and defense, efforts to strengthen local production capacity, and policies aimed at accelerating the supply of specialized steel products.
Referring to the impact of local content policies and supportive regulations on regional supply chains, Corera stated, “GCC countries are taking significant steps toward building a stronger and more diversified industrial base.”
