Hot rolled coil (HRC) price is on the rise in the Vietnamese market, and Hoa Phat Steel is reported to have restarted its blast furnace at the end of December last year.
Since the end of 2022, global demand has gradually recovered, with a small number of transactions in European, Middle Eastern and Asian countries. In addition, Chinese manufacturers began to repeatedly increase their offers in mid-Decembers last year.
Recently, European manufacturers have also increased their January delivery prices before the New Year holidays. Vietnamese manufacturers' hot roll prices are expected to increase, and Japanese, South Korean and Indian manufacturers are expected to follow the upward trend in the next few days.
