Yılmaz: Transformation in industry is improving the current account deficit

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz evaluated the industrial production index data for November 2025 in a post on his social media account.

Stating that the wheels of industry continue to turn and contribute to growth and exports, Yılmaz said:

“Our industrial production recorded a 2.5 percent increase in November. The rise in high-technology products is in double digits. The increase in high-tech and value-added production, particularly in the defense industry, is noteworthy. We will continue to support the transformation of our industry through YTAK, HIT-30, and other incentive programs.

The transformation in industry, together with developments in the energy sector, is strengthening the permanent improvement of the current account deficit, which has fallen to very low levels. We thank all institutions and entrepreneurs who have contributed.”
