Wire rod exports of Türkiye increased by 52.18% in January

Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) announced the first foreign trade statistics of 2024. SteelRadar's compilation of TUIK data shows that Türkiye's wire rod exports in January 2024 increased by 52.18% compared to the same month of the previous year and reached 70,017 tons.

Compared to the previous month, December 2023, wire rod exports decreased by 36.8%. Exports in December were 110,848 tons.

Additionally, Türkiye's total wire rod exports in 2023 were 723,513 tons, which represents a 38.05% decrease compared to 2022.
