Wire rod exports of Türkiye increased by 171.6% in January-March period

SteelRadar compiled data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) and reported that Türkiye's wire rod exports in March 2024 increased by 318.5% yoy to 136,650 tons from 32,654 tons. It decreased by 5.9% compared to the previous month.

In the January-March period, total wire rod exports increased by 171.6% from 129,074 tons to 350,605 tons.

The leading country to which Türkiye exported wire rod in February was Romania with 49,667.2 tons, followed by Spain with 18,969.3 tons, Bulgaria with 16,025.83 tons, Italy with 9,149 tons and Australia with 8,775.1 tons.
