Welspun Corp announces two large orders in October

Indian steel pipe maker Welspun Corp announced in early October that it had received an order from the US worth 2,400 crore rupees (approximately USD 290 million). The order is for the supply of coated helical submerged arc welding (HSAW) pipes intended for a natural gas pipeline project.

Welspun Corp announced that the order will be fulfilled from the current fiscal year until fiscal year 2026. With this new agreement, the company strengthens its reputation and consolidates its leadership position in the US market.

Welspun Corp. also recently received a large order from the Middle East for the supply of coated longitudinal submerged arc welding (LSAW) pipes and bends. The total value of these new orders from the US and the Middle East amounts to 1,348 crore rupees (approximately USD 163 million).
