Vietnam HRC prices on the rise since November

Vietnamese HRC prices have risen since the beginning of November, reaching October levels.

Although there is no clarity about the demand experienced in HRC in the local market, prices continue to rise as import prices in the country continue.

The stagnation in production due to the rise in energy costs, the price increase of the big producers, and the price increase of the local producers.

European steelmakers are also preparing to increase their domestic hot rolled coil (HRC) prices as they expect demand to recover in the first quarter of 2023.

HRC prices, which were around $580 in October, dropped to $520 in November. HRC prices, which later increase to $540 and $560, are at $590 in the second week of December.
