Erciyas Çelik Boru Sanayi A.Ş. (ERCB) has made a significant change in its management team. According to the company’s announcement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) on September 30, 2025, Naile Duygu Koçoğlu, who had been serving as Acting General Manager since September 2, 2024, has stepped down from her position. Koçoğlu had held various roles within the company for over 18 years, including serving as General Manager for the past year.
In line with the opinion of the Corporate Governance Committee, the Board of Directors appointed Vedat Yalçın, a seasoned professional in the industry, as the new General Manager.
Vedat Yalçın received his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Middle East Technical University (METU) in 1981 and his master's degree in 1983. He began his career at Yüksel İnşaat, where he served as Project Manager from 1981 to 1990. He started to work with Noksel A.Ş., a foreign-invested steel pipe manufacturer established through a partnership between Nokia Corp. (Finland) and Çukurova Holding, where he worked as Deputy General Manager from 1990 to 2009. Between 2009 and 2025, he held the positions of General Manager and Executive Board Member at the same company.
Vedat Yalçın has also played active roles in various industry-related non-governmental organizations. He held several positions within the Steel Pipe Manufacturers Association (SPMA) over the years, serving as a Board Member from 2000 to 2017, Chairman of the Board in 2017–2018 and again in 2023–2024, and as a Board Member from 2019 to 2022. Additionally, he was a member of the Ankara Representative Committee of the Turkish Employers’ Association of Metal Industries (MIMA) from 2015 to 2025. He also served as a Board Member of the Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters’ Association, operating under the Central Anatolian Exporters’ Associations (CAEA), from 2010 to 2025.
In its statement, Erciyas Çelik Boru thanked Koçoğlu for her many years of contributions and extended its best wishes for her success in the new chapter of her career.
