Vale Indonesia signs $1 billion deal with Petrosea

While the contract is planned to be signed in March, it was announced that the cooperation will be valid for 10 years.
Vale Indonesia will benefit from Petrosea's extensive mining services in this project. “We can clarify that the mentioned project is indeed one of the potential projects that is in the process of contract finalization,” PTRO's Corporate Secretary Anto Broto told the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Bahodopi is known as one of Indonesia's richest regions in terms of nickel reserves. With this project, Vale Indonesia is taking an important step to respond to global nickel demand and contribute to the Indonesian economy. Petrosea's expertise in the sector will play a key role in this long-term project.

This 1 billion dollar deal is considered as an important step towards increasing Indonesia's competitiveness in the mining sector while reinforcing Vale and Petrosea's cooperation.
