US reviews anti-dumping orders on Mexican steel

In a recent development, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) has officially commenced an administrative review concerning anti-dumping (AD) orders applicable to carbon and specific alloy steel wire rods originating from Mexico. This review involves several prominent companies, namely ArcelorMittal Mexico, Comercializadora Eloro, Deacero, Grupo Villacero, Ingeteknos Estructurales, TA 2000, Talleres y Aceros, and Ternium Mexico. The designated period under evaluation spans from October 1, 2022, to September 30, 2023.

A final determination stemming from this comprehensive AD review is anticipated to be unveiled no later than the conclusion of October next year. This development underscores the ongoing efforts by the US Department of Commerce to ensure fair trade practices and uphold the integrity of the market within the steel industry.
