The review, conducted under the Tariff Act of 1930, aims to determine whether the removal of the duties would lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the U.S. steel industry.
It was recalled that the anti-dumping and countervailing duty measures previously imposed on welded steel pipe products from Türkiye and South Korea were extended in 2021.
The Commission stated that domestic producers, importers, exporters, and related parties must submit their comments and data regarding the process by June 1, 2026. It was also announced that rebuttal comments may be submitted by July 13, 2026.
As part of the investigation, authorities will examine whether the relevant products are entering the U.S. market at unfairly low prices, whether they benefit from government subsidies, and whether they create price pressure on domestic producers.
The products covered by the investigation are classified under HTSUS codes 7305.11.1030, 7305.11.5000, 7305.12.1030, 7305.12.5000, 7305.19.1030, 7305.19.5000, 7306.19.1010, 7306.19.1050, 7306.19.5110, and 7306.19.5150.
