According to statistics, in December 2022, the US exported about 28,800 tons of profiles (including U, I, H, L and T profile steels). While exports decreased by 6.4% compared to the previous year, they increased by 19% compared to the same month of the previous year.
Export value decreased by 15.5% m-o-m and increased by 15.6% y-o-y to about US$38 million.
Exports to Canada decreased by 20.4% m-o-m and 5.44% y-o-y to about 16,000 tons, while exports to Mexico amounted to about 11,000 tons.
