In March 2023, US profile exports (including U, I, H, L and T section steel) totaled about 42,200 tons, increased by 12% from February and down by 6% from March of the previous year.
Exports to Canada ranked first
Exports to Canada and Mexico amounted to 27,400 tons and 12,700 tons, respectively.
The value of exports in this period amounted to approximately US$ 52 million, increased by 9.7% on a monthly basis and decreased by 19.9% on an annual basis.
