US crude steel production increased

According to the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), for the week ended February 10, 2024, US domestic crude steel production was 1.71 million tons and capacity utilization was 77%, up by 0.5% from the previous week.

In the week ending February 10, 2023, production was 1.80 million tons and capacity utilization was 80.5%. In the current week, production decreased by 5% y-o-y.
