UMMC-Steel changes its name

From August 2022, UMMC-Stal has officially become UMK-Stal LLC (Managing Metallurgical Company - Steel).

In the press release, it was stated that the changes are a logical conclusion to the rebranding of the ferrous metallurgy division, which has long been operating as an independent organization and maintaining its partnerships with UMMC. The company had registered its trademark in 2019.

Renaming does not imply any changes in terms of both legal and organizational conditions. All existing contracts and issued powers of attorney remain valid.

PJSC Nadezhda Metallurgical Plant and MZ Elektrostal Tyumen plant continue to exist as part of the UMK-Steel company. The company produces more than 1 million tons of rolled metal per year for the machine building, oil and gas complex and construction industry.
