Ukrainian Zaporizhstal increased production in January-November

In November, Zaporizhstal produced 262,700 tons of pig iron, 240,800 tons of crude steel and 195,600 tons of finished steel, which is 82.5%, 180.6% and 161.5% more than last year, respectively.

In January-November, pig iron production at the Zaporizhstal plant amounted to 2.45 million tons, an increase of 31.3%, crude steel - 2.24 million tons, finished rolled products - 1.85 million tons, an increase of 57.6% and 47 .9% respectively compared to the same period last year.

The increase in the level of production in November 2023 compared to the same period last year is connected with the removal of blast furnace No. 2 from the hot preservation mode and the adjustment of the operating mode of three blast furnaces.
