During the meeting between the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyridenko and the Vice President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis on 18 November; Ukraine stated that it wants to replace Russian iron ore and steel products in the European market.
According to what is stated by Ukraine; Integration into the internal markets of the European Union and the advancement of trade relations are important for the reconstruction of Ukraine's economy.
During this meeting, an agreement was reached on the preparation of an updated plan of priority measures to facilitate trade between Ukraine and the European Union.
