Türkiye's wire rod imports decreased 9,7% in January

According to data collected by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Türkiye's wire rod imports in January 2024 decreased by 9,7% y-o-y to 29.680 tons from 32.864 tons in the same month of the previous year. It decreased by 56,6% compared to December, the previous month.

Chine, Kazakhstan and South Korea ranked in the top three in Türkiye's wire rod imports in the said month. China, which ranked first in Türkiye's wire rod exports in November, imported 10.796 tons, followed by Kazakhstan with 5.139 tons and South Korea with 4.691 tons.
