According to information compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) data, Türkiye's wire rod exports in October 2024 decreased by 69.8% compared to the same month of the previous year, from 101,751 tons to 30,745 tons. It decreased by 74.5% compared to the previous month, September.
Total wire rod exports in the January-October period increased by 47.5%, from 520,248 tons to 767,097 tons.
In the said month, the State of Palestine, Australia and Kosovo ranked first in Türkiye's wire rod exports. In October, 10,985 tons of exports were made to the State of Palestine, which ranked first in Türkiye's wire rod exports, followed by Australia with 9,051 tons and Kosovo with 2,478 tons.
