Türkiye’s wire rod exports increased by 36.6% in February

Türkiye’s wire rod exports in February 2026 increased by 36.6% year-on-year and rose by 77.7% on a monthly basis.

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye’s wire rod exports in February increased by 36.6% year-on-year, rising from 47,638 tons to 65,078 tons. Compared to the previous month of January, an increase of 77.7% was recorded.

Total wire rod exports in the January–February period increased by 0.35%, rising from 101,347 tons to 101,698 tons.

In the said month, Romania, Australia and Bosnia-Herzegovina ranked as the top three destinations for Türkiye’s wire rod exports. Wire rod exports to Romania amounted to 26,484 tons, followed by Australia with 9,641 tons and Bosnia-Herzegovina with 7,314 tons.
