Turkiye's wire rod exports increased by 15.21% in a month, imports decreased by 13.36%: Here are the details...

According to TUIK data, Turkiye's wire rod exports increased by 15.21% in July compared to the previous month, while decreasing by 125.97% compared to the same month last year. Imports, on the other hand, increased by 134.98% compared to the same month last year, while decreasing by 13.36% compared to the previous month.

According to TUIK data, Turkiye's wire rod exports increased by 15.21% in July compared to the previous month, while decreasing by 125.97% compared to the same month last year. Imports, on the other hand, increased by 134.98% compared to the same month last year, while decreasing by 13.36% compared to the previous month.

According to Turkish Statistical Institute ( TUIK) wire rod export and import data for July, while Turkiye's wire rod exports were 114,630 tonnes in July 2022, this figure decreased by 125.97% to 50,750 tonnes in July 2023.

The highest exports were realised in July

According to the data received, the highest export figure in the 7-month period was realised in July, while 145,863 tonnes of exports were realised in March, reaching the highest figure in the same period last year.

In the 2023 January-July period, the month with the lowest exports was April. The export figure, which was 26,859 tonnes in April, was observed as 99,079 tonnes in the same month of the previous year.

The highest number of imports was realised in May

Turkiye's wire rod imports in July increased by 134.98% y-o-y and decreased by 13.36% compared to the same month of the previous year.

According to wire rod import data for July, wire rod imports, which was 28,681 tonnes in the same month of last year, increased by 134.98% to 67,316 tonnes in July this year. The import figure, which was 77,661 tonnes in June, decreased by 13.36% to 67,316 tonnes in July.

When we look at the import data for the January-July period, it is seen that the highest imports in the 7-month period were 904,389 tonnes in May.

In 2023, the month with the lowest wire rod imports was January with 29,437 tonnes.

The country with the highest imports in July was Egypt with 25,710 tonnes. Other countries are as follows;
